The Om square

Registered of the 15th century. The market was organized in this area and that is why the square is named as Mercadal.

Its last remodelling dates back to 1999, which has turned it into a hard floor square with a lamp post of gaudinian reminiscences.

Within it were fixed the dependences that organized commercial and municipal events of the villa.

Surrounding it, you can see important manors , such as the Sentís, a residence related to several illustrious and adoptive children: the canon Gaietà Sentís Gran (1846-1922), the soldier Josep M. Sentís Simeon (1896-1989) and the father of the journalist Carles Sentís Anfruns (1911-2011).
