Arbre square

A public space inaugurated in 1913, on the occasion of the Constantinian holidays and the Tree.

The last remodelling took place in 2007, extending it to 6.500 m2 and was entrusted to the Japanese architect Hiroya Tanaka, who filled it with gaudinian and oriental decorations. It contains the most important collection of sakura cherry-trees in Europe.

In its centre there is a fountain that makes a great ball roll. It includes benches inspired on the Güell Park ones and has Zen style white sand zones.
